Album Design "Now" by Yijia Xie

Yijia Xie's "Now" album design is a testament to her deep appreciation for China's rich cultural heritage. Drawing inspiration from Chinese calligraphy and characters, she sought to infuse these elements with modern design, resulting in a visually stunning and meaningful creation. The album comprises six songs, each narrating a compelling story related to dreams, growth, and love.

What sets this album design apart is the innovative approach of merging Chinese characters, collage, and generative coding. Yijia carefully selected the most meaningful Chinese character from each song title, such as Universe, Rain, Believe, Eyes, Moon, and Star, and seamlessly integrated them into the design, creating a captivating visual narrative.

Utilizing print design, digital collage, package design, and generative coding, Yijia realized her vision for the "Now" album design. The result is a collection of visually striking and unique packaging wraps, ensuring that each recipient receives a one-of-a-kind visual experience. By fusing Yuli's music with these moving collages, Yijia has successfully created a harmonious blend of traditional and modern elements, delivering surprising and captivating outcomes.
