Exhibition Center Showcasing Chuanjiang Culture

Located in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, China, the Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center is a fusion of modern oriental aesthetics, blending traditional and modern, oriental and western atmospheres. The space aims to create a humanistic commercial reception area, reflecting the geographic and cultural characteristics of the region.

The project, covering nearly 3216 square meters, features a sand table model display area, Chuanjiang culture exhibition hall, negotiation reception area, and other spaces. The design draws inspiration from the Chuan River, with elements like old boats, tile eaves, and slender ropes influencing the overall spatial concept.

The design team, led by Yutao Song and Ying Chen, utilized black and white, warm gray, and wood as the main color palette, creating a home-like warmth and comfort. Accents of red and plant green enrich the space, while metal elements add character and texture.

Commencing in March 2019 and concluding in March 2023, the project aimed to achieve a unique and modern feel, using Ferrari grey marble as the main flooring material to create a dignified and atmospheric atmosphere for the business space.

The use of jute rope, cement Lanson panels, wood grain Lanson panels, and light oak finished decorations throughout the interior creates a stunning art appreciation piece, softening the overall atmosphere and providing an immersive visiting experience for visitors.

The overall design of Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center unites architecture, interior, and landscape in a balanced manner, emphasizing the relationship between people, nature, fields, and materials. The design aims to make people feel the coexistence of beauty and spirit, reflecting a deeper, more comprehensive perspective on the connection between people and space.
