Introducing iData i2, a revolutionary wearable PDA device designed by Wuxi iData Technology Co.,Ltd, redefining mobility and functionality in data collection.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wuxi iData Technology Co.,Ltd introduces iData i2, a groundbreaking wearable PDA device that takes inspiration from flagship cell phones, featuring a bionic design and a 69mm body for a comfortable grip. With multiple color options, it meets individual user preferences.
Taking lightweight and expandability as the core concept, i2 is equipped with a self-developed scan head and various accessories, meeting diverse user needs such as arm wearing, finger control, and waist wearing. Weighing only 140g, it is 50% lighter than traditional devices.
The shell is made of high-strength PC and 10% GF, utilizing single-color injection molding. The 1.1mm thick Asahi Glass touch panel ensures resistance to falling and scratching while being lightweight and reliable. The integrated sound cavity design maximizes the speaker volume, reaching 100dB with a 1W speaker.
With expansion accessories, i2 supports various operations such as arm wearing, finger control, and waist wearing. It features a 3.5-inch ultra-clear display with customizable UI style and font size. The device supports wet-hand operation, glove mode, and multi-touch for convenient use.
The project began in 2021 and was completed in March 2021 in Wuxi. Extensive market research and a focus on lightweight and expandable design led to the creation of i2, catering to all scenarios and user needs.
The i2 design has overcome challenges in reducing size and weight, introducing industry-first features like the integrated sound cavity design and a rotatable structure. It has been widely adopted in retail, logistics, warehousing, aviation, and intelligent scheduling, revolutionizing data collection and equipment management.
