Ask Studio introduces Maoyuan Jingxi, a high-end residential space designed to integrate fashion and art into daily life, located in Beijing, China.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ask Studio's Maoyuan Jingxi is a 680sqm residential space designed for high-end customers who appreciate art collection. The space seamlessly integrates fashion and art, creating a living environment that exudes artistic elegance. The design concept draws inspiration from fashion, translating fabric manipulations into spatial design, resulting in a unique and sophisticated showroom.
The space is not merely a display of artworks but a harmonious integration of art into daily life, connecting people, space, and life through artistic elements. The project, which commenced in 2018, was completed in August 2019 and is situated in the prime area of Beijing.
The design team, led by Chief Designers Sissi Chen and Kurt He, employed innovative techniques such as fabric applications, metal, glass carving, and stone texture to create a multi-dimensional living space that reflects the client's exquisite taste in art and fashion.
Structurally, the high ceiling space provides an ideal environment for art collections, with each floor serving a distinct function. The space showcases a seamless blend of art and handicraft techniques, creating an atmosphere that permeates every corner. Notably, the design successfully integrates art into daily life, reflecting the essence of arts in a practical setting.
The Maoyuan Jingxi Showroom was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and remarkable innovation in integrating fashion and art into residential space design.
