Creating a Serene Escape in the Heart of Shinjuku

Takahiro Todoroki presents Luxe, a high-end lounge bar in the vibrant Shinjuku Kabukicho, offering a serene escape from the bustling entertainment district. The design aims to provide a quiet space amidst the hustle and bustle, catering to both locals and international visitors seeking relaxation.

The main floor features steel frameworks with indirect lighting, creating an iconic space, while the subfloor expresses vibrancy through a continuous arrangement of neon-lit artwork. Colorful floral partitions add a touch of nature to the otherwise inorganic space, and the VIP room boasts a shimmering beaten metal plate.

Technical specifications include the use of plated metal plates with beaten surfaces for tables and VIP room ceilings, as well as metal tin ceiling boards for the bar ceiling. Black mirrors are strategically incorporated into the design, enhancing the ambiance of the space.
