Design Unveiled: 'oriZENtal' by Benji Li

Renowned designer Benji Li has unveiled 'oriZENtal', a private residential apartment design that seamlessly blends Oriental Zen Culture, Contemporary Minimalism, and Subtle Luxury to create a distinctive Contemporary Zen Culture. The interior design revolves around three architectural philosophies, creating a calm and undisturbed sanctuary amidst urban space.

The most intriguing aspect of the design is the incorporation of the 'Round Doctrine' and the consistent use of 'roundness' throughout the house, adding a contemporary twist to the traditional Oriental Zen Culture. The design features unique elements such as a traditional circle-shaped door 'Moon Gate' carved out of marble, a charming round-coffered ceiling in the foyer, and a lotus-shaped light trough in the master bedroom, creating a warm and gentle atmosphere for rest.

Using an array of high-grade materials including marble, timber, fabric, leather, and stainless steel trims, the design aims to generate and accentuate the Contemporary Zen Culture. The saleable unit spans 1363 square feet, including the private lift lobby, offering a tranquil and rejuvenating living space.

Benji Li, the design director of Benji Li Interiors Limited, graduated with a 4-year degree in Interior Design from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University RMIT in Australia. His unique perspective and design philosophy, influenced by his experience in both Australia and Hong Kong, have led to the creation of 'oriZENtal' - a space that exudes tranquility, class, character, and luxury.
