Mudita Pure: Redefining Mobile Phone Experience

Mudita introduces Pure, a minimalist premium mobile phone designed to enhance the quality of life in today's world. With an ultralow Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) head value of 0.08 W/kg and an E Ink display, Pure is an ideal solution for individuals seeking a mindful approach to technology usage while prioritizing their health and wellbeing.

Unlike conventional smartphones, Pure is intentionally devoid of a web browser, applications, games, and access to social media sites, aiming to reduce distractions and empower users to embrace an offline lifestyle.

Measuring 58.82mm x 14.00mm x 139.72mm, Pure is a wireless electronic telecommunications device operating in GSM 2G 800/900/1800/1900 MHz radio bands. The phone's antenna is mounted inside the casing, featuring a unique, patented design to minimize mobile radiation exposure.

Mudita Pure is the result of a project that commenced in 2017 in Warsaw, Poland, and is set to culminate with the phone's premiere in autumn 2020. The design process involved extensive research, including founder experiences, expert consultations, and in-depth interviews with potential users, all aimed at creating a device that promotes mindfulness and digital detox.

The development of Pure presented several challenges, including the creation of a neutral, distraction-free phone and the use of sustainable materials for the casing. Additionally, the team is working on developing its own operating system for the E Ink device to ensure a seamless user experience.
