Kezia Age's Innovative 3D Printed Lamp Redefines Primitive Nature

Kezia Age, the creative director of Duettones Design Lab, introduces The Conequeror, a groundbreaking 3D printed lamp that redefines primitive nature in a contemporary context. Drawing inspiration from the Indonesian traditional house, Mbaru Niang, this lamp blends parametric design with cutting-edge LED technology to cast a modern poetic glow, offering an emotional experience with the ability to transform into 13 different colors which project three different patterns.

Crafted with an approach to redefining primitive nature, The Conequeror Lamp reflects three intricate patterns of primitive nature, combined with LED technology offering a palette of 13 vibrant colors to cast the patterns onto surrounding surfaces. This portable masterpiece brings a sense of protection atmosphere wherever it goes, turning any space into a haven of tranquillity.

Employing a parametric approach in its design, this concept demands meticulous attention to detail, necessitating an elevated level of precision during both the production phase and the iterative exploration of mock-ups to attain the desired outcome. The project started in June 2023 in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom and finished in September 2023, and was exhibited in University of Hertfordshire in October 2023.
