HYZ Foot Spa: A Modern Oasis in the Heart of Taizhou's CBD

Jian Wang, a renowned designer, has unveiled the HYZ Foot Spa, a captivating urban oasis located in the core CBD of Taizhou Pharmaceutical City. The spa, covering a total of 1100 square meters, offers a unique retreat for elites in the pharmaceutical industry, providing a leisure and relaxation field with a regression to nature in a high-tech industry CBD.

The design of the hot water bathing pool is inspired by a ladder, with a window created by luminous membrane structures at the top, and a forest-like area built with concrete beside it. The space achieves a soft transition between indoor and outdoor, creating a vibrant and revitalizing atmosphere.

Utilizing block stone, terrazzo, aluminum transfer printing, copper, wood finish, spray-painted transparent soft film, and mirror stainless steel, the spa's design is a testament to modernity and simplicity, offering a seamless blend of art and nature.

Overcoming challenges such as repurposing a service apartment and addressing unresolved downpipes, the design team has created a spatial experience with a strong sense of depth in a narrow site. The clever arrangement of the public area beautifies the exposed downpipes, forming a concrete forest picture displayed by spraying a transparent soft film.

The HYZ Foot Spa project commenced in August 2020 and was completed in May 2021 in Taizhou, showcasing the dedication and meticulous attention to detail that went into its realization.

Jian Wang, the main designer, along with assistant designer Ming Li and Liang Mei, has brought to life a space that blurs spatial boundaries and offers an infinite experience within a limited area.
