SeeTang Collection: Biomaterial Invention for Marine Conservation

Jana-Aimée Wiesenberger's SeeTang Collection is a sustainable biomaterial invention that introduces invented biomaterials focused on marine conservation. The collection includes an instant dish and a fashion line, both showcasing biodegradable alternatives to plastic pollution. The biomaterials are sourced from the sea to raise awareness about their importance to our climate and planet. The production of SeeTang is a zero-waste process, and the biomaterial is infused with saffron dye, offering unique, sustainable, and environmentally friendly products.

The instant dish packaging is cooked alongside food ingredients, as the biomaterial is 100% dissolvable in water, vegan, and edible. The outer packaging is either recyclable or can be put in the compost. The fashion line offers durable, long-lasting, biodegradable, sustainable, recyclable, vegan, and edible products, providing innovative solutions for environmentally conscious consumers.

SeeTang Collection was awarded Bronze in A' Sustainable Products, Projects and Green Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that contribute to quality of life improvements and make the world a better place.

Jana-Aimée Wiesenberger, hailing from Surbiton, Great Britain, creates innovative design solutions by utilizing a passion for intensive research and a vivid imagination.
