Unveiling the Innovative Two-Story Dome Project in Beijing

Hongbo Wung's Dome project, a two-story restaurant and bar in Beijing, is a unique and innovative transformation of the city's dining and entertainment scene. Inspired by the limitless expanse of the sky, the design aims to create a natural and comfortable atmosphere, offering patrons an unforgettable experience.

The project, which commenced in August 2022 and concluded in March 2023, is a testament to Wung's dedication to creating spaces that evoke a sense of wonder and relaxation. The design features an open ground on the second floor, adorned with a transparent light film on the ceiling to simulate the breathtaking scene of a sunrise. The curved corners of the establishment envelop guests in a serene ambiance, while a mixed-colored light system further enhances the illusion of an early morning sunrise. The use of light golden artistic paint adds to the overall relaxed feeling, elevating the dining and socializing experience.

Recognizing the exceptional creativity and professional excellence embodied in the Dome project, Hongbo Wung was honored with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2024. This accolade underscores the project's outstanding technical prowess, remarkable innovation, and its ability to evoke positive emotions, amazement, and wonder among visitors.
