Encouraging Emotional Connections through Japanese Aesthetics

Te-Yu Liu and Hui-Ching Chang have unveiled their latest project, "Secluded Beauty in the Mountains," a unique residential common area design located in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The project, completed in April 2023, aims to foster emotional connections among residents through a blend of Japanese aesthetics and functional facilities.

The 374-square-meter space features a lobby, meeting room, and lounge, incorporating the works of renowned ceramic artists to create a tranquil and inviting atmosphere. The design encourages communication and interaction among residents, offering a taste of exotic Japan within the property development in Taiwan.

The common area is a testament to the designers' dedication to creating a warm and inviting habitat, seamlessly integrating the masterpieces of esteemed ceramicist Mr. Liu Jung Hui. The space exudes an air of sophistication and refinement, with a mix of Kyoto and modern styles in the lounge bar, providing a unique flavor to the environment.

Recognizing their outstanding expertise and innovation, the project was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2024 for its remarkable level of excellence and positive impact on residents.
