Renowned designer Lin Hai unveils the Snow Peak VI Design, inspired by the iconic Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, and awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2023.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned designer Lin Hai has unveiled the Snow Peak VI Design, drawing inspiration from the iconic Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. The design features a three-dimensional abstract image of the Potala Palace, incorporating the basic element of hotel architecture, the "pillar," to create a strong regional style.
The well-designed feature viewing room at LHASA HOSTEL allows guests to enjoy the beauty of the Potala Palace without leaving their rooms, offering a unique and immersive experience.
The logo on all paper promotional materials adopts embossing technology to create a three-dimensional effect, enhancing the visual appeal of the design.
The Snow Peak VI Design is mainly used in office supplies and hotel supplies, made according to regular sizes, and is characterized by keywords such as Tibetan, Potala Palace, Hotel, Visual Identity, and Territoriality.
Lin Hai, along with team members Liu Kaiyi and Zhang Weiwei, overcame the challenge of integrating the hotel with the complex and changeable landmark - Potala Palace, by using concise design language and refining the most representative element, the pillars, to create a strong regional style.
The project, which started in March 2022 and finished in May 2022 in Kunming, China, was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence.
