Borghezia Unveils Rana Earrings, a Unique Blend of Modern and Traditional

Borghezia, under the creative direction of Erlina Soegandi, presents Rana Earrings, a fusion of modern architectural design and traditional ethnic jewelry. Influenced by the bold, structured look of modern architecture and the elegance of traditional jewelry, Rana embodies a unique dual look option, allowing the dangle attachments to be interchangeable and worn as stud earrings.

From sketch to 3D drawings, prototypes, molds, and production, the Rana Earrings are meticulously crafted with 18k IP gold plating brass and set with glass stones. The earrings boast a diameter of 0.98" (2.5 cm) and a length of 3.5" (9 cm), making them a statement piece in the world of fashion jewelry and accessories.

The project commenced in September 2019 in Indonesia and concluded in January 2020, culminating in a design that seamlessly marries modern aesthetics with traditional elegance. The Rana Earrings were awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing their outstanding creativity and contribution to the world of jewelry design.
