Dominote: Bi-Color Bluetooth Speaker with Unique Design

Vasil Velchev introduces Dominote, a bi-color Bluetooth speaker with a top control panel inspired by the shape of a domino or a dice, and side panels influenced by a retro TV design. The name "Dominote" is a combination of "Domino" and "Note", with a cross-reference to "Dominate". The carcass is made of plastic with reinforced rubber edges, featuring a metal speaker grill and fabric stripe. The speaker operates via Bluetooth and is USB charged, offering a unique and recognizable design in the audio equipment industry.

The project, initiated in December 2022 in Bulgaria, involved extensive research in audio transmission, speaker configuration, and parameters. Vasil Velchev, a master of electrical engineering and experienced graphic designer, successfully overcame creative, technical, and cost optimization challenges to bring Dominote to life. The design won the Iron A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its practicality, innovation, and fulfillment of professional and industrial requirements.

Vasil Velchev, originally from Gabrovo, Bulgaria, has over 10 years of experience in graphic design and has garnered international recognition for his innovative creations. His project, MAGMA, aims to consolidate his diverse creations under one roof, reflecting his belief in constantly transforming original ideas into tangible, impactful products.
