PERFECTION IN MOTION: A Contemporary Landed House Design

Tan Si Yuan's PERFECTION IN MOTION is a testament to the seamless fusion of simplicity and serenity in interior design. The project showcases the innovative use of curves, sophisticated materials, and functional details to create a luxurious yet laid-back space, centered around contemporary elements. The large-scale family home features a custom-built cabinet that serves as a central element, demarcating various spaces and concealing structural columns. The design also incorporates modern minimalist backdrops, elegant feature walls, and carefully curated materials to enhance the visual appeal.

The project spans a double-storey landed house with a total built-up area of 225 square meters, featuring 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms. It is located in a guarded and gated neighborhood, offering high-end park homes with elevated garden decks and a cozy garden. The design is characterized by minimalist and contemporary elements, emphasizing the use of light and space to create a sense of tranquility and elegance.

Tan Si Yuan's design team, led by Interior Designer Tan Bee Kun, meticulously curated the flooring materials, utilizing white marble textures on the ground floor to evoke a sense of peacefulness and continuity. The first floor features American red oak hardwood floors, adding elegance and warmth to the living spaces. The project's duration, from inception to completion, reflects the meticulous attention to detail and the comprehensive research undertaken to achieve an elegant, functional, and timeless interior design.

The project's success is underscored by its recognition with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, affirming its outstanding creativity, technical prowess, and contribution to quality of life improvements.
