Rings Designed with Modern 3D Data and Archaic Symbolism

Renowned goldsmith and graphic designer Britta Schwalm introduces the Mystery and Confession rings, a unique jewelry concept that encapsulates deep emotions and hidden feelings. The rings, crafted with modern 3D data but based on archaic symbolism, feature a half-relief heart design that allows wearers to express their emotions discreetly. The rings are a means to feel and preserve loving feelings, emotionally in the heart as well as physically on the finger.

Schwalm's innovative approach to jewelry design combines traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. The rings are created using 3Design and 3Shaper, specialized CAD software for jewelry, and are realized through the production of residue-free wax models using Rapid Prototyping. The final stage involves casting the rings in silver or other alloys and hand-polishing them to ensure a smooth finish.

With a diameter of approximately 22mm and a width of 7mm, the rings offer a perfect balance of weight and comfort. They can be customized with engravings, gemstones, and preferred alloys such as gold or platinum, providing a personalized touch for each wearer.
