HONG KONG (CHINA) -- /DESIGN/newswire -- Jul 27, 2019

Revolutionizing Traditional Photography with the Fragment 8 Retro Camera

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Fragment 8 Retro Camera: Capturing Life's Forgotten Fragments

The Fragment 8 Retro Camera, designed by Martin Chan, is a fusion of 1960s 8mm film camera aesthetics and modern digital technology. This innovative camera aims to promote the culture of intuitive shooting, capturing conveniently forgotten fragments in life.

Combining the authentic look of Super 8 home movies with the convenience of USB output in MP4 or GIF formats, the Fragment 8 offers shooting options at 9 or 24 frames per second and includes three add-on lenses for specialized effects.

Measuring at 110mm x 40mm x 90mm, the camera features three operating modes and a rotating plate for applying different filter lenses. The project, which started in March 2019 in Hong Kong, was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020 for its creative ingenuity and contribution to quality of life improvements.
