Creating a Modern Wabi-Sabi Aesthetic

De Weng & Jianfeng Liang, the renowned interior designers, have unveiled their latest project, the "Humble Space" office. The design, inspired by the Three Dharma Seals in Buddhism, offers a unique and tranquil environment for work and leisure. The 125-square-meter office, located in Zhangzhou, China, was completed in July 2019.

The office, designed to be relaxed and quiet, provides a seamless blend of work and life, reflecting the essence of wabi-sabi. The space is intended to offer users a serene environment, promoting creativity and peace of mind. The design incorporates natural light, minimalistic elements, and traditional influences to create a harmonious atmosphere.

De Weng & Jianfeng Liang's design philosophy is evident throughout the office, with a focus on minimalism, functionality, and the interplay of light and space. The project was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its innovative and creative approach to interior space design.
