DanZe Interior Design presents Ink Shade, a Japanese-inspired residential project completed in February 2023 in Taiwan, capturing the essence of 'Aman Kyoto' to create a serene vacation-like ambiance at home.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DanZe Interior Design introduces Ink Shade, a residential project inspired by the architectural design of 'Aman Kyoto', aiming to bring the tranquility and serenity of a Japanese luxury hotel into the client's daily life. The design features a unique approach to color zoning, creating a dark social area and bright private area to evoke a resort-like atmosphere within the home. The project involved the transformation of a new apartment into a spacious and airy living space, incorporating open-plan elements and utilizing irregular corners for functional storage.
The social area of the residence is characterized by a dark tone, utilizing stone and wood patterns to create a serene ambiance reminiscent of 'Aman Kyoto'. In contrast, the private area features a light tone composed of wood grains, contributing to a soft and inviting atmosphere. The open-plan study room and the removal of a cubicle to expand the social area were strategic decisions to enhance the overall spaciousness of the living space. Additionally, the installation of a glass partition in the kitchen area effectively separates it from the social space, ensuring functionality without compromising the open-plan design.
The project's realization involved the use of various building materials, including slab tiles, baking paint, grilles, laminate flooring, woodwork panels, iron parts, glass, system panels, transparent glass, and stone veneer. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in the incorporation of hidden storage spaces and the precise alignment of different materials to achieve a cohesive aesthetic.
