Various Associates proudly presents "Morph," a groundbreaking mixed-use space located in the heart of Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China. Completed in July 2019, this 1,000 sqm space redefines the concept of urban socialization, offering a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. Inspired by the concept of transformation and evolution, "Morph" aims to introduce a vibrant social space hosting a variety of cultural, artistic, and musical events, injecting new vitality into the city.

At the core of "Morph" lies its unique approach to design, seamlessly blending traditional and local materials with modern interior structural forms. The space features a diverse material palette, creating captivating interior scenes and defining multiple functional areas. The design team's innovative use of colors, inspired by the Forbidden City and the Wu Xing elements, further enhances the space's visual appeal.

The project's key interventions include the creation of a mezzanine and the incorporation of an oblique and curved double-height structure, adding a distinct spatial identity and increasing brightness. "Morph" is not just a bar or an event venue; it's a transformative space designed to foster interaction between humans and the city, offering adaptability for various activities and providing a dynamic socializing environment for the local community.
