NTUB CTPD introduces Nutrient, an innovative children assistive device designed to aid in the correction of Articulation Disorders, addressing the increasing prevalence of this condition in Taiwan. The project was completed in Taoyuan, Taiwan, from January 2020 to March 2021.

NTUB CTPD's Nutrient is a series of children assistive devices designed to aid in the correction of Articulation Disorders, addressing the increasing prevalence of this condition in Taiwan. The devices are uniquely shaped like fruits and vegetables, utilizing food-grade silicone and ABS plastic to provide a vibrant and interesting image, transforming the traditional cold feeling of assistive products.
The devices include Carrot, Chinese cabbage, Corn, and Pea pods, each targeting specific oral muscles for training and correction. The project was completed in Taoyuan, Taiwan, from January 2020 to March 2021, and the team overcame various challenges, including arousing children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, meeting standards, and ensuring the devices are well developed.
NTUB CTPD's Nutrient won the Silver A' Design Award in the Baby, Kids, and Children's Products category in 2021, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in addressing the critical issue of Articulation Disorders in children.
