Origami-Inspired Aluminum Chair

Jingwen Li introduces the Jw Outdoor Furniture, an origami-style aluminum chair that combines structural beauty with the characteristics of metal materials. The modular processing and assembly ensure convenient transportation and installation, while the application of ergonomics enhances user experience. The chair, inspired by origami, offers a unique visual language and is available in a variety of colors to complement any environment.

The Jw chair's aluminum plate bending process ensures security and recyclability, making it suitable for outdoor use due to its corrosion-resistant properties. Its dimensions are Width 500mm x Depth 500mm x Height 880mm, with a surface treatment of Aluminum sandblast, offering a minimalist and sculptural addition to any outdoor space.

The chair's all-aluminum design provides the largest load-bearing capacity with the lightest material, and its corrosion resistance, reliability, and quality make it suitable for outdoor use. The Jw chair was exhibited at the Hainan Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs in 2017, following its completion in November 2017 in China.

Jingwen Li's lifelong pursuit of design excellence and her multidisciplinary approach, combined with her master's and doctoral degrees in industrial design, have resulted in the creation of the Jw Outdoor Furniture. This innovative design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award, showcasing its outstanding creativity and resourcefulness in the field of furniture design.
