Renowned designer Midori Yamazaki introduces "Waiting for the Wave in Metaverse," a groundbreaking digital artwork that blurs the lines between reality and virtual reality. The artwork visualizes the momentary shape of a wave in perfect form for surfing, encapsulating the supple strength of human cognitive abilities and the beauty of nature.

Created through a playful process that merges digital and physical elements, "Waiting for the Wave in Metaverse" combines hand-drawn intuitive sketches of waves with the simulation of ideal surfing conditions. The resulting shapes were formed using stone powder in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, seamlessly blending the realms of art and technology.
