Stefano Rosselli's "Two of Hearts" Illustration: A Collaboration Inspired by "The Little Prince"
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Stefano Rosselli's "Two of Hearts" is a captivating vector illustration, inspired by the fox from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's "The Little Prince." This unique artwork is part of the "Luck of the Draw" project, a collaborative initiative by Victoria Spady, bringing together artists worldwide to create a distinctive deck of playing cards.
The illustration, created in February 2018, was digitally crafted without a drawing tablet, utilizing a vector graphics editing program. The final artwork, in RGB color mode and ".ai" format, was inserted into a standard poker playing card template with dimensions of 63.5x88.9mm, provided by the project's coordinator.
Stefano's "Two of Hearts" not only captures the essence of the fable but also meets the challenge of maintaining playability and legibility at a small size, essential for a playing card. This remarkable piece was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, showcasing its creative ingenuity and technical excellence.
