Interweave Cabinet: A Unique Blend of Functionality and Aesthetics

The Interweave Cabinet, designed by Yu-Ching Chen, is a stunning fusion of contemporary style and natural beauty. The cabinet's unique visual effect is achieved by interweaving two different-colored woods, creating a harmonious yet complex pattern that symbolizes the blending and connection of different elements in life.

Composed of intersecting lines made from walnut and beech hardwood, the cabinet features a semi-transparent barrier, adding depth and allowing glimpses of its contents. This innovative design makes it suitable for discreet yet intriguing display, showcasing a unique aesthetic.

Measuring 1450mm*700mm*500mm, the Interweave Cabinet is an ideal addition to living rooms or lobbies, providing a space to showcase items with an almost ethereal quality. Crafted in Hsinchu, the project started in December 2021 and was completed in May 2022.

Yu-Ching Chen, a leading furniture designer from London, is renowned for her craftsmanship and innovative designs.
