Energy's Distinctive Design Sets a New Standard in Visual Identity

Paraguayan designer Edgar Jara Asilvera has unveiled a groundbreaking brand identity for a vehicle fuel marketer in Paraguay, aptly named Energy. The inspiration behind the design stems from the inherent characteristics of movement and energy, with the main symbol representing the blades or propeller of an engine, signifying the link with the automotive and industrial world. The color scheme reflects the different types of fuels offered by the company, setting a new standard in visual identity for the industry.

Energy's identity is presented through an imagotipo, featuring a dynamic and minimalist style that ingeniously incorporates a fraction of the typography (e) of the name "energy" to form the blades of the motor propeller, symbolizing movement and energy. The design, realized through a meticulous process of manual sketching and digital rendering, stands out with high contrast colors that are closely related to the field, ensuring a visually striking and memorable brand identity.

The project, which commenced in August 2020 and concluded in November 2020 in Paraguay, required extensive research and development to create a brand identity that would stand out in a highly competitive market. Overcoming the challenge of establishing a unique and original trademark for a new fuel distributor, the design team successfully crafted a visually compelling and highly recognizable brand identity that embodies the values of the company and communicates the essence of "energy" in a solid and impactful imagotype.

The Energy brand manual serves as a practical guide for maintaining the brand's identity across various platforms, ensuring consistent and effective visual communication. With two distinct versions for horizontal and vertical applications, the brand identity manual provides comprehensive guidelines for permitted and unauthorized uses, enabling the brand to maintain a strong and consistent visual presence.

Edgar Jara Asilvera's innovative design for Energy has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2021, underscoring its practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements. The design's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics has contributed to a better world, setting a new benchmark for brand identity in the vehicle fuel marketing industry.
