The Poju Pet Urn, a creation by Christine Xiang, is a touching tribute to the bond between pets and their owners. This pet urn seamlessly combines form and function, offering a unique and caring experience to users during challenging moments. The arched-shaped door plate allows for customization and engraving of the pet's name, setting it apart from other options. The design incorporates slip-cast durable porcelain and a metal rod to connect the star seamlessly, with meticulous hand-painting adding a personalized touch. Measuring 152mm in diameter and 152mm in height, the urn is suitable for pets weighing up to 60 lbs prior to cremation.

Designed to offer a simple and user-friendly experience, the Poju Pet Urn features a stopper lid at the bottom for easy removal, facilitating the process of transferring a pet's ashes. The design invites users to embrace and caress the urn as a gesture of closure and comfort, providing a safe and efficient transformation of ashes while maintaining the integrity of the product.

The project commenced in October 2022 in Los Angeles and concluded in September 2023, with the design process informed by integrated research. The Poju Pet Urn addresses the emotional needs of pet owners while ensuring the security of their pets' ashes, catering to a growing desire for customizable and secure urns. The warm, modern design appeals to a broad range of users, providing closure, comfort, and customizable elements that can enhance well-being at a physiological level.
