Creep Design Unveils Z: A Unique Residential Interior Design Project

Creep Design introduces Z, a residential interior design project that redefines warmth and comfort in living spaces, inspired by the embrace of a mother's hug. The project was realized from November 2019 to May 2020 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

Z: Redefining Warmth and Comfort
Creep Design's Z project is a testament to the enduring warmth of a mother's embrace, translated into a residential interior design that combines cold tones with a touch of warmth and smoothness. The space, spanning 8287mm X 6853mm X 2700mm, features a 3D arc ceiling design and a convergence of materials including marble, terrazzo, FENIX, cement, and titanium plated metal.
The design team, led by CEO YU-ZU CHUANG and designer SHIH-YAO HUANG, discarded excessive decorative materials and colors to create a simple and comfortable living space that allows sunlight to shine through. The arc-shaped ceiling design envelops inhabitants, evoking a sense of calm and warmth.
The project overcame creative and technical challenges, including the repeated repair and painting of the arc-shaped ceiling to achieve a soft vibe, as well as the integration of different gray materials in the space.
Creep Design's commitment to youthfulness, innovation, and sustainability is evident in the Z project, which was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that prioritizes comfort and resourcefulness.
