Yanzhou IP Design: Illustrating the Elegance of Yanzhou's Ancient City Culture

Yanzhou IP Design by Pan Shurui is an illustration project that breathes new life into the ancient city culture of Yanzhou, China. Through modern media and localized IP characteristics, this project showcases the unique architectural culture and folk customs of Yanzhou, spreading its human and natural culture in a way that resonates with modern aesthetics.

Using Photoshop graphic design software, the illustrations and expressions were meticulously crafted to showcase the details of exquisite illustrations. The project, which started in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China in July 2023 and was completed in October 2023, has garnered national recognition, winning the first prize in the "Beautiful China" innovative design competition in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China in November 2023.

Yanzhou, with its rich history and cultural significance, provided the inspiration for this project. The designer, Pan Shurui, overcame creative and technical challenges to accurately capture the essence of national style illustrations while retaining the traditional charm of Yanzhou's ancient city culture. The result is a creative, ethnic, and inheritable representation of regional cultural characteristics in a novel way.
