Grégoire Gurtner presents Wall O, a groundbreaking wall seat capsule designed to transform any space into a sanctuary of comfort and tranquility. The inspiration for this innovative design stemmed from the idea of creating a relaxing seat for unoccupied walls, resulting in the birth of the Wall-O, a sleek and minimalist cocoon that offers both privacy and environmental friendliness.

Wall-O, with its recycled PET casing and premium ecological textile interior, provides a serene retreat from noise and distractions, making it an ideal addition to homes, offices, or waiting rooms. Its unique design allows for discreet wall attachment, offering a sense of security and peace while encouraging curiosity about this unconventional seating solution.

The technical specifications of Wall-O measure 760mm x 500mm x 1720mm, showcasing its compact yet spacious design. Its soft acoustic envelope in PET felt creates an inviting cocoon, offering a tranquil space to unwind and find solace.

Grégoire Gurtner, known for his innovative approach to design, led the project from its inception in November 2020 to the final version's completion in June 2022. The first prototype left the workshops in February 2022, and Wall-O received the prestigious European Product Design Awards in August 2022, recognizing its exceptional contribution to modern design.

Grégoire Gurtner's Wall-O has been honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2023, acknowledging its outstanding creativity and ingenious design that enhances the quality of life. The Wall-O encapsulates the essence of innovative design, seamlessly blending art, science, and technology to create a unique and transformative seating experience.
