Coingaroo: Futuristic Interior Design for Crypto Currency Retail Shop

Raymond Ng's Coingaroo interior design project, located in TMTplaza Hong Kong, merges the tranquility of Japanese gardens with the boundless possibilities of space, creating a visually stunning and informative retail space for crypto enthusiasts. The largest crypto currency retail shop in Hong Kong, Coingaroo features a clean and futuristic interior design inspired by art galleries, with a wavy metal panel ceiling, greenery around every corner, and digital displays showcasing NFTs. A round LED screen shows the current price of all crypto currencies, creating a space that is both visually appealing and informative for crypto currency enthusiasts.

To create a flowing and inviting space, curves were used throughout the design, from the ceiling features to the walls, partitions, and furniture. A clean, bright color palette was employed to highlight the NFT artwork on the walls. The overall space of the shop is around 1200 square feet.

The project, led by Raymond Ng, began in April 2022 and was completed in June 2022. The design was awarded Iron in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2024, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
