FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Yu-Liang Chen's Earth Worker: A Fusion of Art, Culture, and Nature

Yu-Liang Chen, from NewLocal Art Studio, presents "Earth Worker," an awe-inspiring installation art project that seamlessly integrates with the wetland environment of Pingtung County, Taiwan. The project draws inspiration from the local Macadao tribe's culture and history, creating a visual spectacle that embodies the essence of the earth and its stories.

The Earth Worker stands as a metaphorical giant, shaping all living things and narrating local tales through its form and movement. Crafted using GlassFiber Reinforced Cement, the installation art reflects the matriarchal society of the Macadao tribe and the legendary story of "The Mother Earth."

Through meticulous research and realization techniques, the Earth Worker symbolizes the connection between humanity, nature, and the local heritage, offering a thought-provoking experience for viewers.

Yu-Liang Chen's Earth Worker project was completed in December 2020 and has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design in 2021. This award celebrates the project's innovative design, practicality, and its ability to evoke positive emotions, contributing to a better world.
