Chenghe Interior Design Co., Ltd. presents "Forest Living," a residential house project designed to bring the outdoors inside, creating a cozy and nurturing reading environment. Located at the foot of Ali Mountain in Chiayi County, Taiwan, the 166 square meter space features a harmonious connection between the interior and exterior, with large floor-to-ceiling windows allowing an abundance of natural daylight to bathe the public sphere from dawn to dusk.

The retirement abode highlights the homeowner's deep-seated love and longing for the hometown, emphasizing the unbreakable bond with family and the lasting impact it has on life. The design utilizes sleek iron parts, natural elements, and materials such as fair-faced concrete and wood to add a human touch under the warmth of sunlight, creating a warm and inviting space.

With Japanese style as the main axis of the interior space, the walls are made of fair-faced concrete to embody serenity and tranquility. The unadorned textures give a sense of stability and ease, while wood bookshelves and cross-shaped light fixtures create an exquisite hierarchical view, extending the theme of "back to the roots" throughout the space.
