Flow Reef by Po Chuan Kao

ACG Design International proudly presents 'Flow Reef,' a stunning residential project by Po Chuan Kao, inspired by the natural beauty of green coral formations. Completed in June 2023 in Rimini, this modern, minimalist residence reimagines the coastal landscape within a 148.7 square meter space, seamlessly blending form and function to create a harmonious living environment.

The project's unique strength lies in its division of space, clearly defining social and private areas. The design integrates low-saturation dark materials to symbolize the rocks, vegetation, fallen leaves, and gravel along the shoreline, creating a planar order reminiscent of green coral's structure. The use of Italian mineral paint, wood veneer, and stained glass further enhances the natural aesthetic, echoing concepts of sustainability and environmental protection.

Flow Reef's open plan layout allows for comfortable circulation in the social area, while the kitchen island serves as a functional and aesthetic border between the foyer, dining room, and kitchen. The master bedroom's bathroom features a luxurious bathtub and shower area, partitioned with moru glass and adorned with imported tile and marble in grayscale, offering a serene retreat within the home.
