Modular: Redefining Door Handle Design

Wala Sp. z o.o. introduces the Modular series, a groundbreaking approach to door handles that prioritizes individual preferences and customization. The design aims to offer a simple yet versatile solution, allowing users to freely change and mix components to create a handle that matches their unique style and the building's facade.

The Modular handles are crafted with independent elements, featuring separate tubes and bases that can be finished in a variety of ways, including the full RAL palette, Anodes, Inox, and wood-like sublimation. This flexibility enables the creation of truly unique handles tailored to the door design. Additionally, the handles can be enhanced with features such as fingerprint readers and LED lighting, further elevating their appeal.

The MPS31 series of modular handles is constructed from aluminum flat bars, offering a durable and versatile foundation for the customizable components. The handles can be further personalized with extensions and access control systems, such as fingerprint readers, numeric keypads, or touch microsensors.

The tube, with a length ranging from 100 to 3000mm, and the bases, available in six shapes and varying widths, offer extensive customization possibilities. The handles can also incorporate LED strips for illumination and house number displays, adding both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The Modular handles are designed to provide full individual personalization, allowing users to create a handle that is truly unique and tailored to their specific preferences and building facade. The project, initiated in May 2022, is continuously evolving, with ongoing design and implementation stages aimed at expanding the range of components and possibilities.

Extensive research has been conducted to ensure the durability and strength of the handles, with a focus on the fastening mechanisms and support structures. The project has overcome various technical and creative challenges, including the development of universal tools to streamline the production process and enhance the design's versatility.

Wala Sp. z o.o.'s innovative Modular series has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Building Materials and Construction Components category, highlighting its exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and contribution to improving quality of life.
