Vu Van Hai Unveils the Flower Tower Project, a Stunning Architectural Marvel
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Vu Van Hai, the Principal Architect of VHA Architects, presents the Flower Tower project, a remarkable architectural endeavor set amidst the picturesque highlands of Da Lat, Vietnam. The tower, resembling a lotus flower sprouting from the clouds, stands at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level, offering a unique blend of an observation tower and a coffee space within a vast natural landscape.
The Flower Tower is a 12-meter high giant sculpture, consisting of 27 steel modules stylized like a lotus flower. It hosts a 600 square meter coffee space at an altitude of 8 meters, featuring an internal well hole and a rooftop garden for visitors to admire the surrounding landscape. The design incorporates a continuous ramp, allowing visitors to gradually view the landscape before reaching the panoramic rooftop.
The tower is supported by a steel frame structure with corten steel covering the outer surface, designed to seamlessly integrate with the natural surroundings of Da Lat. The project, with a building scale of 600 square meters, is set to commence construction in April 2021.
Vu Van Hai, known for his expertise in green architecture and sustainable criteria, has brought forth a design that not only serves as a stunning architectural marvel but also integrates seamlessly with the natural landscape, offering visitors a unique and immersive experience.
The Flower Tower project has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence in architectural design.
