GREAT BRITAIN -- /DESIGN/newswire -- Jul 30, 2022

Artur Tikhonenko's Trido Magnetic Art is a patented magnetic building blocks set, inspired by origami, abstract sculpture, and platonic solids geometry, designed to awaken the play instinct of children and adults, enabling them to create impressively artistic geometric three-dimensional structures.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Trido Magnetic Art: Building Blocks Set with Patented Magnetic System

Trido Magnetic Art is a set of magnetic building blocks, based on the geometry of Platonic solids: the shapes of tetrahedron and octahedron. The patented magnetic system allows limitless construction possibilities, with harmoniously balanced palettes and expressive magnetic eyes bringing any structure to life.

The pieces are made of ABS plastic, with the magnets safely hidden inside in a special inner "nest". The magnetic system is protected by patents in the USA, European countries, China, Japan, and Korea.

Available in small, medium, and large sets, each size comes in six color palettes, offering a versatile and enjoyable building experience. Trido is a distinctive inspirational tool for play, learning, exploration, and relaxation.

Playing with Trido is pleasant and simple, with the parts being very comfortable to hold and well-magnetized, allowing for easy and fast building. The addition of an eye shape to any structure creates a funny character, and designs can be easily changed in just a few steps.

The development of the first prototypes started in mid-2017, with the first sales launching in Europe and China in 2020. In 2022, Trido won the Red Dot Award "Best of the Best". The design was awarded Silver in A' Toys, Games and Hobby Products Design Award in 2023.

Artur Tikhonenko, the creator of Trido, was inspired by sculpture, plaster casting, and origami technology. The most challenging part of the design process was developing the magnetic inner system for different shapes, requiring extensive prototyping and testing to achieve the right balance of functionality and appearance quality.

Artur Tikhonenko, born in Belarus, has a strong artistic background and a deep interest in painting, handmade crafts, and street art. His passion for art and design led him to create Trido, a unique and innovative building blocks set that has garnered international recognition and acclaim.
