Breaking Traditional Office Concepts with High-Tech Style

Yan De Jiang's design for Kc Group's headquarters challenges traditional office concepts by integrating building materials to create a visually impactful and high-tech style. The exterior features imitation fair-faced concrete, while the interior showcases solid wood and iron pieces, embodying a modern industrial aesthetic.

Utilizing colorful granite paints and light strips, the design symbolizes interior traffic flow and division of areas, creating a dynamic and functional workspace. The project spans 1322.32 square meters and is located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The design team overcame technical challenges to improve damaged walls and lighting, employing innovative processes such as covering tiles with imported paints and reinforcing waterproofing work to protect the old facade.

Reflecting the values of colors, textures, and light and shadow, the design embodies a human-centered approach, creating a serene and harmonious environment. The use of imitation fair-faced concrete, wood veneer, iron pieces, and grey mirror and glass elements maintains consistency and richness throughout the space.

Yan De Jiang's design for Kc Group's headquarters received the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2023, recognizing its outstanding creativity and contribution to quality of life improvements.
