Chao Yen Chen's Green Rhythm of City is a sustainable urban landscape sales center that subverts the mainstream, combining a client-friendly environment with sustainable ideas. Completed in November 2020 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, this project redefines the concept of a friendly environment in sales centers.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Green Rhythm of City is a unique and innovative urban landscape sales center that challenges traditional design norms. Unlike the typical sales centers that focus on exaggerated designs and are demolished after the sales period, this project emphasizes a sustainable and client-friendly approach. The design team combined semi-permanent buildings with environmentally designed slope terrain to enhance the green environment and beautify the streets.
Located in the center of the city, the 486 square meter site features a design that incorporates 50% landscape and 50% volume, echoing the design of trees, landscapes, and houses. The main entrance deliberately uses landscape art to present the relationship between the green ramp and the building, enhancing the overall aesthetic and sustainability of the center.
The project, winner of the Iron A' Design Award in 2021, integrates industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world. Chao Yen Chen's design philosophy emphasizes the coordination with clients, creating a work deeply related to them and embodying the philosophy of being "combined with nature" and "consistent with nature."
