Al Moosa Pediatric Clinics - A Dream-like Environment for Kids

Caline Morcos Interiors has unveiled the enchanting Al Moosa Pediatric Clinics, a space dedicated to kids, designed to be child-friendly and not childish. The clinic is a calm, comforting, safe place, with a fun and positive atmosphere essential for a child’s emotional health. The design draws inspiration from the desert landscape, incorporating soothing and natural materials with striking, stimulating colors. The dynamic lines in the floor and ceiling add dynamism and distraction, creating a space that is both soothing and stimulating for young patients.

The design is inspired by the desert, the oasis wonders, and particularly the idea of the mirage, translated into an ethereal space with soothing colors. The space limits are blurred by the reflective ceiling and poetic floating spheres, creating an illusion effect that reinforces the dream-like environment. Elements such as the enchanted tree, mushroom-like pods, peek-a-boo wall, and marshmallow rainbow arch stimulate the kids’ curiosity and cognitive development, providing a space where reality seems completely unreal.

Caline Morcos utilized Autocad LT and 3DS Max in the realization of this design, creating CGIs related to the project's key areas. The design project started in December 2023 and was completed in February 2024. The designer conducted extensive research on kids' environments, desert oases, and mirages to develop a new and unconventional architectural language, overcoming challenges related to healthcare environment constraints, material selection restrictions, safety requirements, and hygiene.

The Al Moosa Pediatric Clinics design was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence in interior space, retail, and exhibition design. The design is a testament to Caline Morcos Interiors' commitment to crafting environments that exude elegance, refinement, and a distinctive core concept, elevating spaces beyond mere functionality to embody an essence of poetic beauty and ethereal charm.
