Ō-DOME introduces Drayton Gardens, a transformative top-floor residence in London’s South Kensington, blending classic architecture with minimalist design. The project, completed in November 2023, offers a bespoke living space for a discerning 60-year-old finance professional, seamlessly merging classical features with minimalist design.

The interior design ethos delicately merges minimalist aesthetics with classic architecture, creating a timeless, luxurious retreat ideal for a busy lifestyle. The project navigated challenges of space, functionality, and aesthetics, ensuring a delicate balance between office, entertainment, and home.

Ō-DOME’s design approach involved using carefully selected materials throughout the property, ensuring a blend of form and function. Custom-designed elements, from joinery to furniture, create a unique living space that caters to the client’s agile and busy lifestyle.

O-Dome’s mission was to create an interior that transitioned easily between office, entertainment, and home, catering for the client’s agile and busy lifestyle. The design had to strike a delicate balance, ensuring that each facet of the space was not only visually appealing but also functionally optimized. Elements such as air conditioning, lighting design, temperature control, and audio-visual integration took center stage in the design process.

The project, located in London’s South Kensington, began in November 2021 and was completed in November 2023. The design research entailed a thorough examination of the intricacies of integrating the new geometry into the space while carefully considering its interaction with the existing classical features. Continuous collaboration with the project technicians allowed for accurate drawings, ensuring successful implementation.

Drayton Gardens project is a fusion of functionality and aesthetics that seamlessly merges architectural classical features with minimalist design. A complete renovation of a top floor flat allowed to reshape a challenging space into a harmonious luxury retreat. The flat is not just ergonomically planned but is almost entirely bespoke. A one-of-a-kind, made to measure approach ensures that each piece is meticulously crafted to harmonize with the space, reflecting its individual style.
