Desire in Life Jewelry Series

ONESWEAR presents the "Desire in Life" series, a collection of jewelry that creatively applies stereo sculpture to craft skeletal shapes, symbolizing the juxtaposition of wealth and power with the essence of life. The series comprises a skull-shaped diamond ring, a rib-formed triangular structure ring, and a necklace featuring a red jewel in a three-dimensional sternum, all crafted with 18K black gold, reflecting the designer's contemplation on the theme of "desire for life."

The combination of art sculpture and jewelry results in a unique line that embodies tension and smoothness, achieved through the semi-realistic method of using wax molds to carve human bones and pouring gold to create the jewelry. The series also features a layer of 18K black gold coating for the diamond and men's rings, while the women's ring is imbued with diamonds and 18K platinum, and the necklace is adorned with a heart-shaped red gem.

The skull-shaped diamond ring abstractly portrays a person holding a diamond with a fixed gaze, symbolizing the desire for wealth, while the rib-formed ring represents the interdependence of male and female passions. The necklace, with its heart-shaped red jewel, conveys the yearning for power. The punk aesthetic and 18K black gold material prompt wearers to contemplate the theme of "desire and life."

The "Desire in Life" project commenced its conceptual design in Shanghai, China, in July 2018, culminating in its completion and release in June 2019. The series embodies extensive research on contemporary art in jewelry design, emotional resonance, 18K metal materials, and three-dimensional sculpture technology, elevating jewelry from a mere accessory to an expression of profound emotional resonance.

Recognizing the exceptional creativity and technical prowess of the "Desire in Life" series, it was honored with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Jewelry Design category in 2020, underscoring its outstanding innovation and artistic excellence.
