Time Capsule by Lee Chi Yuan

Inspired by vintage objects and memories, "Time Capsule" seamlessly integrates antique furniture, artworks, and historical imprints into a 854 sqft living space. The design showcases a collection of solid wood pieces, including grand wooden coffee tables, needlework boxes, Danish armoires, and classically styled furniture, along with artworks and sculptures, creating a nostalgic yet contemporary ambiance.

The study, serving as the centerpiece of the public space, features semi-open corner ports on both sides, incorporating see-through glass and a wooden sliding door to create an opaque and secluded character. The space also hosts a classic single chair, providing a cozy spot to enjoy the afternoon sun.

The walls are coated with natural white clay, evoking childhood memories of mud houses, while weathered cypress window sills complement artistic driftwood plantings, adding texture and warmth to the interior.
