Infinity: Redefining Future Residences with Mobile Architecture

A.L.P.S. presents Infinity, a revolutionary mobile architecture project designed by Jie Tang and the team. This innovative concept aims to address the increasing need for sustainable living solutions in harmony with nature. The project commenced in March 2024 and was completed in December 2023 in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China.

The retractable skeleton, a unique feature developed by the team, enables easy transportation and construction, while its flexibility allows it to adapt to various terrains. With a focus on ecological balance, the design ensures minimal impact on the local ecology system, offering a new perspective on future residences.

The use of aircraft-grade aluminum panels and a deformable metal skeleton main structure enables rapid construction, providing cost-effectiveness and high-quality living. The unit's dimensions are 6.7m x 6.7m x 4.3m, offering a versatile living space that can be customized to suit different environmental conditions.

Infinity's interaction with its surroundings is enhanced through secondary lightweight structures and floor-to-ceiling windows, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. The use of innovative facade materials, including mirrors, offers the potential for the building to seamlessly integrate into its environment, providing residents with a unique and immersive experience.

The project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that contributes to quality of life improvements and makes the world a better place.

Infinity represents a bold step towards redefining future residences, offering a sustainable and adaptable living solution that aligns with the evolving needs of modern society.
