Bozhe Qu Unveils Luna, a Lightweight Electric Scooter with Retro Aesthetics

Bozhe Qu, a renowned designer, presents Luna, an electric scooter that redefines retro fashion. Inspired by classic two-wheeled motorcycles from mid-20th century Europe, Luna combines vintage aesthetics with modern appeal, offering a unique and stylish commuting solution for young consumers.

Luna stands out with its lightweight design and retro-inspired exterior, reminiscent of the iconic motorcycles of the past. It features a rare earth magneto for enhanced power and energy efficiency, making it an ideal choice for urban commuting and short travels.

The design process involved meticulous attention to detail, with Luna's rounded edges, round headlight, and elegant colorway reflecting the essence of retro and modern fashion. Its innovative digital key and responsive disc brake system ensure a safe and convenient riding experience.

Bozhe Qu's Luna project commenced in Taizhou, Zhejiang, in May 2022, and the electric scooter was introduced to the Chinese market in December 2022. The design team's extensive research revealed a gap in the market for electric scooters that blend retro aesthetics with robust performance, leading to the development of Luna.

One of the key challenges overcome during the design process was achieving a harmonious fusion of retro and modern aesthetics while integrating the rare earth strong magneto for improved functionality. Luna's successful realization as a stylish and powerful electric scooter has earned it the Bronze A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its innovative and creative design approach.
