Piti Amornlertwattana Redefines Branding and Packaging for Prow Thai

Piti Amornlertwattana, a Bangkok-based graphic designer, has redefined the branding and packaging for Prow Thai, a virgin coconut oil and cosmetics brand originating from the southern regions of Thailand. The project, which commenced in March 2020 and concluded in June 2020, aimed to create a fresh and international image for the traditional product, reflecting its organic and indigenous roots.
Amornlertwattana's design concept focused on crafting a handcrafted look while ensuring the packaging meets international standards for retail and online markets. The logo and packaging feature a clean and simple design, with a circular coconut shape and dot graphic elements inspired by the form of the coconut and the beauty of the southern sea. The color scheme and off-white background reflect the cleanliness and organic nature of the products.
The designer utilized glass bottles and PET labels with matte paper and offset printing to realize the packaging. The unique properties of the design lie in its meticulous handcrafted appearance, combined with the ability to meet global retail standards.
Amornlertwattana's work on Prow Thai has been recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2021. The award acknowledges the exceptional creativity and technical prowess demonstrated in the design, showcasing a remarkable level of excellence and innovation.
