Larma Apartment Project by javad davoodi

The Larma apartment project, designed by javad davoodi, is a stunning fusion of Iranian and indigenous architecture. Located in the north of Iran, Mazandaran, this 6-floor, 12-unit apartment complex showcases a unique blend of traditional and modern design elements. Inspired by the climatic conditions of Mazandaran, the project features a gable roof, a symbol of old and native architecture, to withstand the region's winter and autumn rainfall. The use of bricks, a symbol of Iranian and local architecture, along with green plants and shrubs, pays homage to the environment and the forests of Mazandaran.

Utilizing software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Corona Render, and 3ds Max, the Larma project boasts technical specifications of 15m in width, 25m in length, and 30.75m in height. The design process commenced in July 2021 and concluded in February 2022, with the project's location being Royan, Iran.

The Larma apartment project overcame creative and technical challenges, incorporating colored glass to radiate light within the building while keeping insects and reptiles at bay. Additionally, the inclusion of large green terraces pays homage to the traditional yards of Mazandaran, further enhancing the project's unique appeal.
