The app, inspired by the need to enhance the fishing experience for all stakeholders, offers a comprehensive and user-friendly digital solution for fishermen, authorities, and fishery fauna. With features such as digital fishing licenses, instant catch auto-fill, and real-time mapping, Catch Tracking is set to transform the fishing industry.

The app's unique properties include a comprehensive list of species, a fish measurement tool, and detailed reports of fishing activities, providing a seamless transition from traditional paper-based systems to a digital platform. By leveraging geolocation and measurement features, Catch Tracking ensures accurate and efficient data recording while minimizing the impact on fishery fauna.

Developed through a meticulous process encompassing research, analysis, design, and testing, Catch Tracking integrates cutting-edge technologies and user-centric design principles to deliver an unparalleled fishing experience. The app's intuitive interface is structured into three main areas: Species, Compiling, and Maps, offering fishermen a seamless and efficient tool to record catches and access vital information.

The project, initiated in March 2021, culminated in the release of the first prototype in January 2022 in Lugano, Switzerland. Extensive research, including fishing sessions and user surveys, formed the foundation for the app's development, ensuring that it meets the diverse needs of fishermen while addressing the challenges of transitioning from traditional methods to digital solutions.
