Dr Alva Astronomy, a gift box design by Kang Jiang, wins Bronze in A' Packaging Design Award 2022

Dr Alva Astronomy Gift Box Design
Dr Alva Astronomy is a gift box packaging design for the traditional Chinese festival "Mid-Autumn Festival". The gift box conveys the concept of Dr. Alva's courage to explore the ecological balance of the skin. During the Mid-Autumn Festival in China, people have the custom of viewing the moon. The gift box can project the moon, which means bringing the moon into thousands of households.
The design was realized using cardboard, paper, printing, projection lamp, and plexiglass, with dimensions of 350mmx350mmx550mm. The project started in Shenzhen in June 2021, completed in Shenzhen in August 2021, and exhibited in Shenzhen in August 2021.
The team members involved in the project include Fang Jiemei, Jiang Kang, and Wang Xinyu. The design won the Bronze A' Design Award for its outstanding and creatively ingenious concept that brings the moon into every household during the Mid-Autumn Festival, contributing to quality of life improvements.
